Electrical Engineer

Roofit.Solar has developed an exceptional technology to produce outstanding solar roofs. This, together with our in-house developed roof and roof planning software enables us to offer unique products and services to our distribution partners and clients in Europe. To date, we have installed over 1000 roofs in 20+ countries. 

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team.

How can you contribute?

  • Creating electrical solutions for the solar roofs, including finalizing solar roof plans with inverter selection and stringing route confirmation
  • Creating and providing the electrical projects and other required documentation for the PV plants
  • Coordinating electrical installations with the clients, subcontractors, GRID and municipalities
  • Ordering necessary components and creating price offers and invoices
  • Offering consultation and training on the PV plant electrical topics to the internal team and our distribution partners when needed
  • Providing on-site expert-support for subcontractors
  • Commissioning inverters and solar panels on site 
  • Managing the project pipeline in CRM
  • Monitoring installed PV plants and solving inverter and PV panel warranty cases
  • Offering after service support for the clients
  • Participating in developing the electrical services and supporting the R&D team in the product development with the electrical know-how

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Technical degree in electricity or energy
  • Electrical engineer level 6 professional certification with specialization in construction, operation and designing (competence B is also suitable)
  • Deep interest in solar energy and willingness to investigate related electrical field regulations and requirements at our target markets
  • Previous work experience in the field of solar energy is a big plus
  • Proactive and self-directed way of working
  • Excellent problem solving and project management skills
  • Team player attitude
  • Professional Estonian and English language skills
  • B-category drivers license
