
Lead the Future of Solar Innovation and Global Growth
Roofit.Solar is at the forefront of building-integrated solar technology, combining sleek aesthetics with cutting-edge performance having installed over 2500 roofs in 29 countries. As we expand our global footprint, we are looking for a strategic and visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to spearhead our operational efficiency and growth initiatives beyond traditional sales channels.
This is a unique leadership role with a mandate to shape and execute our international growth strategy through launching new services offers to our customer, improving our supply channels and working on the strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A activities.
Based in Tallinn, Estonia, the COO will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive innovation and create scalable, sustainable value worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnerships & Ventures
- Source, structure, and manage strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and M&A opportunities for accelerated company growth
- Represent Roofit.Solar as CEO or board member in subsidiaries and JV entities.
- Ensure strong governance and performance across partner ventures.
- Identify and secure venture debt, working capital solutions and other financing solutions to fund growth without equity dilution.
- Supply Chain Management
- Procurement, streamline end-to-end logistics, negotiate supplier contracts, reduce lead times, warehouse management
- Enforce competitive payment terms, secure extended payables and early-payment discounts to optimize cash flow and vendor relationships.
- Services and New Revenue Streams
- Develop recurring revenue models (e.g. roof planning software, maintenance services, smart energy services) in collaboration with respective partners
- Build a systematic approach to assess and launch new business initiatives
- Sales and Marketing Alignment
- Collaborate with the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) to align strategic efforts with sales, branding, and go-to-market strategies across regions.
- Ensure post-sales execution, client delivery, and feedback loops are efficient and scalable.
- Support the localization and scalability of commercial efforts in international markets.
- Champion the company’s strategic narrative to stakeholders, partners, and represent Roofit.Solar in key industry forums, public events, and commercial platforms to enhance visibility and influence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles focused on international business development, strategic partnerships, and/or M&A.
- Experience in renewable energy, technology, or construction and building materials industries preferred.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Board-level experience and understanding of JV governance and operational oversight.
- Experience in international marketing and brand-building is a strong plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative leadership style.
- Willingness to be based in Tallinn, Estonia.
